Things Weren't So Rosy in the 30's by KylieComment: Congrats! This was my only 10 of the challenge. It just grabbed me by the throat, shook me around and said 10!
Love the crop, the color, and the slick feel of the car. Awesome job. |

Country Roadby rexComment: I actually disagree on the the good light comment. I think this is very average, middle of the day light. That kind of light is very flat, and doesn't add anything to an image. For fun, go back tonight about 30 minutes before sunset, and start shooting one image every minute until 15 minutes after sunset. See if you notice a change in the dynamic quality of the image. I think different light could easilly pop this shot up several places. |

900grby arnitComment: One of my favorites for this challenge. You know the Icelanders are talented folk when even the kittens make good models. :) Excellent image, and my only 10. |

Passion Islandby MickComment: Great capture of a classic beach/pier scene. I like the overall balance to the shot (not to mention the balancing birds). 8 |

Reflections in the Reedsby crabappl3Comment: Ansel Adams eat your heart out. Yet another powerful black and white landscape. I like the almost metalic feel to the image. Storm is coming in. 10 |

Juxtapositionby flip89Comment: Love it.Old vs New, and the smiley face just makes the whole shot. It's a nice unexpected surprise that moves this out of the ordinary category. 10 |

Cool windby denitoComment: This shot really needs you to move up and get lower. Moving up eliminates the barbed wire/moves the wire, and changing the angle may help the windmill become a more destinct visual element. |

The light of my lifeby mffnqueenComment: I'm a sucker for cats. I have two of them myself. They are really tough to shoot. In this case, it looks like you were too close. There's no sharp focus point. So kitty is fuzzy, but not in a good way. Try taking a step back. Also consider cropping so more ear shows. Cat ears are very expressive. Plus they add a nice leading line to the shot. |

Washington Squareby STEINRComment: This shot has a lot of things going on. Problem is, there are too many things. You have several buildings arguing for dominence due to scale, color, or architectural detail. Lots of people, but no real feel for what people are doing. Try moving around a bit and picking one thing to focus on. One element to communicate to the viewer. |
