Okay I take it back, so far I have not seen a single decent PCB/chip photo in this or any other challenge, so I thought they were just a lost cause. Well, yours proves it can be a great subject. Maybe it's the glowing green and red dots that make all the difference? 7

Oh dear, this one is will surely beat my pen photo :-)
Great concept, very well executed. Only complaint is that the DOF is a bit too shallow. Would have been even better with the whole pen in focus, or at least both the nib and the emblem - 7

Really novel idea! I'm not sure about the subtle colors though, with such a bold subject I'd have gone for B&W or a bold contrasting colors. 6
