Daylightby Napalm NymphComment: Very difficult lighting, but you really got it perfectly! Also great model and interesting expression. 9 |

Can't Sleepby WallitComment: Oh what a shame, a truly excellent concept and probably quite well done, but you really can't tell in such a tiny little image! Maybe it was just a mistake, but if you are having trouble getting the file-size under the limit and resorting to shrinking the image, then PM me and I'll give you some advice. |

Mona Lisaby liebeComment: Wonderful expression and interesting lighting, but the soft focus on her left eye bothers me a bit |

what do you wantby speaseComment: Excellent expression! I'd have cropped a little of the top, and edited out that reflection in the glass. The title would also be stronger with punctuation (do you mean "What do you want?" or "What do you want!" ?) |

Ilulissat Fiord, Greenlandby pekeloComment: Wow, so that's what that looks like! I've flown over many times and wondered what it was like down there. The contrast between the crisp ice and smooth clouds is excellent, as is the contrast between the cool blue ice and the warm clouds. And the two birds (cormorants?) provide a center of attraction. Just wish the image were full 640 pixels wide! 8 |

Welcome - Don't Park Here!by sfaliceComment: Great colors, and the touch of humour is welcome. The white on left and bottom looks suspiciously like exposed image canvas after a rotate, forgot to crop? Still a 7 |

Work Spaceby ritaardComment: Brilliant interpretation and very well done photo, and as my wife pointed out, it looks straight out of National Geographic! - 9 |

contourby mesmerajComment: What a great idea! Very well executed. I particulary like how the outline of the jaw is still visible, yet everything else is a pure silhouette. But I would have much preferred a smooth contour, not marred by clothes. 7 |

True American Heroesby oilofoleComment: The back-lighting is interesting, but it leaves the guy's face in the dark. Also the DOF is a bit awkward, neither deep enough to contain both guys nor shallow enough to isolate any particular depth layer. (And just to be nit-picky, there's nothing uniquely American about firemen being heroic.) |
