The pediaticianby gastonComment: Very good environmental portrait, but I feel it's processed with a heavy hand (especially the vignetting and the Neat Image or similar) leaving it looking slightly un-natural. |

A Place to Restby RompyComment: Hmmm... I smell a Pawdrix here. Well, maybe I'm wrong, it's a big enough city for plenty of cameras :) Anyways, good capture focusing on an interesting subject, and the people in the distance are vital for completing the picture. Sepia duotone is well done too. |

Summitby robaComment: I like the juxtaposition of color in the foreground and menacing gray in the background. |

A Walk through the Villageby arpitaComment: Very good capture and very expressive. Colors just feel way over-saturated which gives the image an unnatural feel. Too bad, because the image really tells a good story and is well composed and executed. |

L i zby magenmarieComment: The kind of portrait that makes you feel you know something about the personality of the subject. Well done. |

The Noseby brewmonkeyComment: Framing seems just a bit off... I would have preferred to see more of the mom and less of the bokeh on the right. Excellent capture of the moment - very expressive on both your subjects. Good isolation using limited DOF as well. |

Reflectionby freefallingComment: This is a good portrait and very expressive, but it feels a bit overexposed, with some rather large patches on the cheeks which are blown out. 7 from me. |

Casualties of Peaceby HipychikComment: The moment is well captured, but the HDR gives it an unnatural look which is not what I'm really looking for in an (otherwise excellent) photojournalism effort. |
