Nice clear shot, well setup, good color. I would give it a 10 but would have to drop it to a 4 for the DNMC. But, due to the excellent statement about Michigan... a 7. (DPC voting purists please don't hate me)

I truly loved the original, but yours is easily an equal and maybe a tad bit better5. I like that your flags are right-side-up and so clear.

You did a great job. I think if the 'water drops' effect hadn't been so popular lately, this would have placed much higher.

The feel of Brewer's "Lighthouse" is there but with the placing of his sun and the view of the edifice, his is definitely the better of the two when you are comparing. But...on it's own merits, I think this one also is beautiful (8)

Edited because I was an idiot... I looked at the wrong picture of Brewer's. I apologize to you. The 'view' is almost identical, but I like yours a little better. It is so much nicer with the storm clouds and the breaking waves. Good work!
