I love this one! I love the old look of it, and I love the vibrant colors to make a most appealing composition!

I would have liked better without the glare on the bottom book.kinda detracts from the overall affect! (5)

Not sure if this is really what was meant by the theme, but I do like it! Great colors and subject.

Well, the lighting looks a little washed out on the bottom few books, and the image would probably be nicer if that could have been fixed. However, I think this is a very nice image, and I like your take on the challenge. The colors are lovely!

you shouldn't have to explain your picture for the person to understand what kind of power you are showing, i don't think your image conveys power, it just shows a pile of books...

DNMC IMO, plus lighting is rather bad blowing out part of the image and leaving the rest too dark.

Great color. I had tried some shots with the same concept - glad I didn't submit them - this is better!

Good idea, the lighting on the bottom maybe should have been softened up a bit though.

Love the idea. Good colours. Your table reflects a lot though... If i may suggest, put the books on the black velvet next time, it should take care of that bright reflection.
