Ghostly Gourdby IsaacComment: No real colour to catch the eye so the picture has to rely on texture. I think it suffers from being front lit - cross lighting would have brought out more relief. Framing on the lhs is a little off as well - I think it would have been better either to give it some space or close in tight like the rhs. |

toadstoolby rjgardnerComment: Nice capture - would have been better if you were lower down so you weren't looking down on it. Did you use flash on this? If so, you might have wanted to try it without as there's a lotof glare. |

it foams marineby sauloComment: Hmm, tricky one. Taking a macro of something that is moving is always going to be tricky. The slow shutter speed needed for good DOF is going to make it blurred. Here nothing is sharp and it's not particularly close up. |
