Nice high contrast image. The connection to the challenge seems rather tenuous. Quite a bit of the tree is in the shot. There really isn't much left out to give the viewer a strong impression that he is only seeing part of the tree.

Very disturbing subject. It has a washed out appearence. I find there is a bit too much competetition between the textural detail of the fur and the gras and dry leaves. Perhaps a very low angle of view would have enhanced the drama of the subject?

Technically this is very good. The choice of subject matter bores me. It is a very good representation of a work of art---I could see this being in a travel log. I just think it is kind of 'ho-hum' for this challenge.

This is a very good photo for a family album. From an objective point of view, I find it kind of boring. Technically it is good but it is a familiar take on a familiar subject. I'm not seeing anything that really pulls me in. I do like the play of light and shadow on the road. It's just not enough to interest me.

I like the harmonious color scheme and the exposue is dead on. Her pose is great. I don't like where you've chosen to crop her legs. I would like to see her in full frame.

I like the tension created by positioning the subject so low in a vertical format. However, I find the sky is a bit too 'blah' to carry so much weight in the composition.

Great eye for color and composition. I like the positioning of the window. Unfortunately, I find that the plaque and the surrounding decorative painting detracts from the simplicity. It might be possible to crop out the bottom section and retain some of the vitality of the composition. The tension will be a bit different but it still could work.
