The Riverby Travis99Comment: A beatiful scene that sets a mood. I wish the fisher was wearing a red shirt or something so he stood out more from his surroundings but that's very likely something you had no control over. The water is a bit too contrasty--I'd like to see more midtones. Water can be a difficult subject to capture though. |

Blue Burstby trainComment: there is color in this photo but it doesn't seem to be the main impact. The girl's expression and the splash is far more impactful than the bit of blue at the bottom of the frame. |

The camel with the pyramidsby bibudhComment: This appears to be a headless camel and that grabs my attention away from any idea of color being the impact of this photo. |

Color balanceby alexgarciaComment: The scale pulls too much focus from the pleasing pattern created by the bins and their contents. |

Paprikaby mia67Comment: I mostly like this. I think the focus could be sharper and there is too much glare on the peppers. |

...or backlighting?by LevTComment: The seed pod and the leaf on the right pull focus from an otherwise pleasing composition. |

Purple Splashby barndogComment: This is suffering from very sloppy post-editing. It looks very cut-and-paste to me. The white flowers pull focus from the purple flower. I think it would have been better to isolate the single flower against the dark background. |

Mantlepieceby shamrockComment: I like the unconventional framing. I don't like the shadows behinnd the flowers (or the fact they are fake). Try placing the subject a bit further away from the background to reduce harsh shadows. |
