The New 20by vince31874Comment: I gave this a five. Technically it's not bad. I think you could have put more effort into the framing device. Maybe if you had kept them all the same side up and paid more attention to keeping it symetrical. If you'll notice, the top edge of the black space is much lareger than the bottom and the same goes for the right plane and the left. |

Moving Out...by sfarrell23Comment: I gave this a five. I like the overall perspective. I think waiting until the train was looming closer in the frame (or moving in closer if it's not a moving train) would have created a more imposing subject. The overall seen is much too contrasty. I don't think you need quite as much sky. If you can go back and do this again (lowering the contrast on your camera if you can) you have the makings of an excellent shot. |

Crystal Caveby Links 2 3 4Comment: I gave this a five for effort. It looks like you went out of your way to find something new to shoot. I don't love the shot but technically there's not a lot to complain about. Perhaps tighter framing on the central formation? The flash created quite a few overly hot highlights. The focus seems sharper onthat little turd shaped thing underneath the central formation. |

For your eyes onlyby RUEDISCHMUTZComment: I gave this a five because it technically looks pretty good and it's fairly original. Otherwise, it doesn't do much for me. |

A Dance With a Ghostby artvetComment: I gave this a five. I wanted to score higher because I generally like this type of image. Unfortunately, it was just too blurred and double exposed looking. There should have been one 'solid' subject to focus on. |

Spring Flowersby MobiusComment: I gave this a five. It would have been a six but I felt that the few spots of green leaves poking through the mass of color detracted from the effect. I also really dislike the tacky thin red line in the border. |

Meet Me On The Roofby mocabelaComment: I gave this a five because overall it is pretty good technically. I didn't like the clashing of colors in the rose and the wine. I know the title is meet me on the roof but I don't like the asphault shingles as background. |

Cheers!by peeteComment: It took me two viewings over two days to realize what this was. I gave it a five. I think it has a lot of technical merit. I just didn't love it that much. |

My First Cat Photographby TallblokeComment: I gave this a five. I like the cat's smug expression withhis slight wink. I like the framing. There could be a bit more detail in the cat's face. I know this is difficult with a black cat. One of my cats is all black. I'm kind of sceptical that you've never photographed a cat before but I guess if you aren't a cat lover it's possible. ^..^ |

The Greatest Generationby blemtComment: I gave this a five. It's an interesting abstract but a lot of the details are blurred out because of really shallow depth of field. I have no idea what it is so the title is baffling to me. A new generation of what? |
