This is probably one of the most generic photographs I've ever taken.. but I really like it. I decided to get creative with my "new location" and went up onto the roof - which was scary! But worth it, since I came away with something I was pleased with. I've never shot these wedding glasses before... they've just been sitting in a cupboard gathering dust and spider webs, so I brought them out for a vacation. :)

Not expecting much for this one, especially with the satellite dish reflecting along with the sunset colours - lol. But I thought it said "roof" pretty well, so I left it in. Can't wait to see what other people do - I am expecting a lot of new looking things and maybe some pretty landscapes :)

Editing: Autocolours, sharpening (faded). Resizing, border, and a little manual blurring to clean up some noise that mucked up the out of focus background. I'm thinking some people might mark this down for looking partially desaturated... but hopefully the blue tones will make it obvious that it's not. :)

Tilted roof? The color combo is great, although the rose seems a tad dark. The texture of the roof is great. Original shot.

Great pic and title for the "off screen expecations" challenge. Nicely done. Perhaps add a corner of a blanket in the background just for impact, but fine as is.

Very interesting picture. The reflections in the glasses are nice. The lighting is a bit low which makes some of the colors seem dull.

Cool idea. I like the tilt of the wine (?).
But what is that round thing reflected in the glasses?
The right hand side is a bit too tightly cropped IMHO, but it is still a very nice pic. 8.

Lighting is way too dull, it needs to be crisp and vibrant.

Did he/she meet you? Nice. Wonderful creativity. Seems a bit dark around the bloom of the flower. Otherwise, good job.

I love it. Colours, light and composition.

The liquid seems to be not horizontal, I guess the reason by the tittle but the picture does not show we are on the roof.

A bit dark, particularly the rose. It's a shame, as it was a nice idea.

Very cool picture. That would be a real romantic spot to watch the sunset I can see in the glasses. Picture seems a little dark too me and just a little out of focus. Maybe a little more of the glasses and rose could be in focus. I like the feeling of this picture. Good job!

Interesting shot, the tilt of the drink helps keep the feel of the roof. Might have been better to move a bit so as not to get the satellite dish in the glasses.

I gave this a five because overall it is pretty good technically. I didn't like the clashing of colors in the rose and the wine. I know the title is meet me on the roof but I don't like the asphault shingles as background.

Great idea! Love the sunset reflections, but the light on the rose and roof is kind'a bland.

This is an excellent idea. Looks very unnatural with the skew contents in the glasses. What would have made this photo superb is more emphasis om the rose. A lot lighter rose would have done the trick for me. 7
