I liked this photo quite a bit. I would have voted higher but I didn't really see it as representing an unusual viewpoint, rather, an unusual focal point. Not really quite the same. It's a lovely image that demonstrates the beautiful in the mundane. Thanks for sharing it.

This was a nice shot but a commonplace viewpoint which was why I voted lower.

I didn't care for the harsh lighting on this subject. I know this is a portrait of the subject in her environment but the cigarette pack and matches on the table just looked like clutter to me. I thought the colors of her shirt, the table cloth, the flower, and the ruby glass clashed awfully and this might have been nicer in black and white.
I looked at the rest of your portfolio, much of what I thought was quite good, and this shot, IMO does not do it justice. I don't need photos to be pretty (just check my favorites) but this one didn't move me the way it should have.

I'm sorry if you were offended by the grammar correction. I didn't really see your terse comment as helpful -- it just came of as rather offhanded and disinterested. That apathy triggered my sarcasm. I realize you weren't interested in the photo but if you were going to bother leaving a comment, a few words describing what wasn't interesting would have helped. Are you bored by trees in general? Or is just this particular tree? Is it the composition that is boring to you; or the stark black and white? Your comment left me with the impression that you were so bored by it you couldn't be bothered to explain why.

I liked the idea but the huge, kind of scary toy really stole the show from the baby.

It's a cute capture of the cat but in the end I thought it was a bit too snapshot looking. The ceiling and cabinet over the cat's head is kind of ugly. If you went back and blurred the background in a photo editing program it would improve it.

I wanted to like this shot more. I really liked the composition. I looked at it for awhile but in the end decided that (even for me) it was a bit to fuzzy and grainy. I think the seats really needed to be in sharper focus. Definitely needed a tripod. I gave it a four because I did like a lot about it. I might have given it a 5 in spite of its technical problems but I didn't see this as an unusual viewpoint. Perhaps you were on your knees to get the chairs so low but it doesn't quite have the effect of an unusual viewpoint to the viewer.

It's an interesting shot in a kind of "Charlie's Angels" way. I didn't see it as an unusual viewpoint. I saw it as a backlit subject which is fairly commonplace (consider that there is a scene setting on many DC for backlit subjects). I can't decide whether the vignetting hurts or helps this shot. I was kind of on the fence about this shot. It doesn't seem particulalry thought out. I generally like the stranger shots but this one really didn't work for me. One of the things that bugged me was that silver thing the middle girl is holding.

I'm pretty sure art filters such as the one you used are actual not legal for challenges. At any rate, I couldn't figure out what your unusual viewpoint was. I don't see tiling an image (I'm guessing you used a 16 shot VGA sequence?) as an unusual viewpoint. It was very blurry also but perhaps you intended that as part of the 'puzzled' theme? The cropping was odd. Sorry, you didn't do better but personally, I really didn't care for this.
