The B&W - photoshop cloour trcik is soooooooo overused it's bscomeing tacky.
The red is way to deeply sturated it looks overdone.

Shame as the picture is great in every other aspect.

Shame you couldn't get it without the distracting background. Having gotten lower would have done that but still a great image.

Really nice composition here - 10 for that. I woudl however have gotten rid of teh blue - it doesn;t go with the overall photograph and sticks out like a sore thumb. Also seem to be ever so slightly oof.

good idea, the face spoils it though (only in my opinion) as it's very noisy an a bit wishy washy.

the remaining image is pin sharp - clear and worthy of a winners ribbon.

Well, I thought I found my winner - but now I chnage my mind. Probably the most sharpest image in the entire contest (I can't belive how many people are oof).

Without a doubt the most original (so many people with the balck & white - hard shadow composition - myself included)
The eye and bridge of nose is technicaly perfect.

10 - 10 - 10
