Not sure about the reflection in the mirror, it detracts slightly from the dark to light effect which draws the eye. But otherwise a pleasing composition and shot :)

I can see how the concept of the term "vanishing point" works with the image but not the photographic concept of vanishing point which is what the challenge was all about - no parallel lines in this one, even tho it is a rather nice shot :(

ah well - you live you learn - next time i think i might make it brighter and risk people complaining about the blown highlights (which was the consideration in not making this any lighter) ;P
