Here's one thing I've learned through trial and error.
You sharpen whatever it is that you sharpen.
If you sharpen a blurry spot, you're sharpening blur.
Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.
However, this is a great picture. Not many people get close to live eagles nowadays.

This /really/ reminds me of a woman named Roxy I know. She's known around town as 'the duck lady' because the ducks at the city pond like.. Trust her. She helps them cross the street to the lake. This little girl almost looks like Roxy only younger and prettier. The chicken only helps.
Great shot though. The noise adds alot to it. Makes it look old fashioned in a good way.

The lighting here is absolutely perfect, whatever you did.
And every single shadow and light spot is just.. Perfectly placed. Fantastic use of black and white. This just knocks my socks off. It's perfect.
