Nice. And bonus points for a kid picture! (Since I'm sure you'll get dinged for it.) Great stopped motion. Too bad you couldn't have gotten her face better - would have really made this shot sparkle. Also, try using Neat Image (if you didn't already) to try cleaning up the noise in the sky. It usually does a really good job with this kind of shot.

So Cal coastline? I had a few very similar shots - including the grey clouds. :( I like the composition, but the pelican\'s a bit dark and lacking detail. I realize the limitations you faced, but the result is just OK.

Lighting, focus, etc. are good, as is the idea. Composition would have been better with a wider view, the main dandylion off to one side, and a single spore (?), or even a few spores (but a single would have fit the title), floating off to the other side.

A nice scene, but I think a tighter crop with, more or less, just the rocker, the window and mother and baby would have had a more initmate feeling.

With a better background or setting, this could have had potential. Also, it lends itself to either a square or landscape format - I would have liked to see the paws all the way out. That would have given it a much stronger (maybe even an excellent) Rule Of Thirds feel.

I hope no fungi were injured in the composing of this shot. :) The quality of the image is pretty good, but the composition could maybe use something - just a little too central. And it would have been nice to have the blade of grass removed.

Would have worked better with the focus more towards the front of the shot.

Balls

Woulda been really impressive if you coulda kept yourself out of the balls. (...and I don't mean that as a smart-ass comment.) The ligting is great, and the balls stand out well - they just would have been more interesting if the markings weren't obscured by the reflections.
