Time to go Homeby rkligmanComment: Nice groove, but slightly let down by some confusion in some areas. certainly has a sense of moment though, which is important. |

Still Watersby NovaTigerComment: I like the sense of decay here - like a winter return to a summer home, on a quiet day. |

The Red Coatsby edc1Comment: Good detail, good strong colours, exposure is fine. I'd perhaps hope for a touch more spark compositionally - this seems just a touch straightforward, which makes it a not-quite image for me: there's a sense of not really knowing what your real point of concentration is here - the coats, the smoke, he decoration, the flasks and bags? Too many elements competing for attention perhaps. |

Classical with a twistby MelethiaComment: It's a proper instrument, the button accordion - there are things you can play on one of those that you can't play on anything else. I don't think this is a great photograph - it's OK, but it lacks the elements that would make it more than a simple illustration of an instrument. |

trees and shadows of treesby posthumousComment: Intriguing light here. I like the simplicity of your composition, and the humdrum element of the inclusion of that bench; I think it perhaps lacks a touch of real interest for me - either human or graphical. |

Buachaille Etive Beagby TallblokeComment: Fine landscape - perhaps could use a touch - just a touch mind - of contrast work in the foreground - it has a slight flatness. |

Who can be against meby Ripcurl5Comment: In such a parade of lookalike pretty images, it's refreshing to find something plain weird. Not to say that I particularly like it - it strikes me as slightly disingenuous - but it remains refreshing. Thankyou. |

The Red Heart Public Houseby MAKComment: The processing or light here is very strange - the patches of brightness seem to bear little relevance to the visible sources of light, and one would suspect that they're added in processing. That, and the odd levels of shadow versus highlights make overall, for me, for a very unappealing image - processing running out of control, rather than photography. |

Ship Ahoyby rosiehallComment: Glad of your title - might have missed it otherwise. Can't help the feeling that you might have made more of the textural variation and tonality of those pilings, and even emphasised the silhouette of the boat. |

The Trekby RebeccaComment: The difficulty with the DPC background shade is that it's actually quite bright - soa high-key shot, as snow inevitably is, sometimes requires something to separate it from that background. Here, although your exposure is perfect, nevertheless many of the broad field tones of your image are very close to that shade. It's one example of a situation where I think some kind of border would serve you well to maintain the integrity of the image against that field of grey. Nice picture, but a bit twee for my taste. |
