| Love the way you captured the rifle going off, or is that some crafty retouching! Just a shame the subjects face on the right of the frame is in shadow. |

| Good detail, good strong colours, exposure is fine. I'd perhaps hope for a touch more spark compositionally - this seems just a touch straightforward, which makes it a not-quite image for me: there's a sense of not really knowing what your real point of concentration is here - the coats, the smoke, he decoration, the flasks and bags? Too many elements competing for attention perhaps. |

| I really love historical re-enactments. I feel the crop would have been better slightly higher, more heads less trousers, but good work all the same. |
