Heading Homeby spencerwoodComment: The Albert Embankment? Judging from the streetlights and the edge of what looks like Millbank Tower. I like the drama of the high contrast. |

Here and there...by KaliComment: Great image; dramatic, radical (at least for here) and highly dynamic. Has a sense of motion, of relationships, of reality. Slightly crazy too, which is always good. |

Sandstoneby KaizerComment: Excellent detailing here, and I'm kind of pleased you haven't resorted to the rather obvious and rather over-often-done HDR tricks to 'deal with' that sky; let us see photography, rather than tricksy processing. It has, as imagery, a rther ancient quality to it, oddly. |

Sitting On a Cloudby of-snowComment: I'd agree with Steve's opinion re highlights; the whole thing seems muted really - and your white border only emphasises that. |

Hello? Anybody... Hello?by epescalaComment: Unbelievable, even by DPC standards that this doesn't even warrant top 100. I hope the favourites and personal ribbons are some consolation. Can't give you mine as I didn't vote the challenge, but I think you might well have made that mark. Great shot. |

Taking it to the Holeby IronworkerComment: Very strong sense of action - which is admirable. I like that you've kept that where many people's default preference seems to be for sharpness over all else. The slightly muted colours don't bring much too it for me: I would imagine that either a higher saturation or a complete de-saturation and higher contrast would add still more impact. But I still like the sense of action and struggle and competition. |
