Our Troopsby BigMoComment: Dog tags and boots are an interesting and unique pair of clues for me in your communication. I like the composition, too. And this is certainly something for which we should be grateful. |

Thankful for the ride of my lifeby jonpinkComment: Symbolic perhaps? If so, there are few clues that lead to know this. The image looks real enough, and has interesting colors. It is well composed and very engaging. Use of motion blur is very nicely done. The use of a cliche in the title leads me to believe that your work here is symbolic, but the point of view and presentation is very literal, so I'm just a tad confused. Still, very nice image. |

My Little Explorerby delarimanComment: I've got a few explorers, too! Your use of fill-flash was a good choice here. I usuallydon't light flash for humans, but in this image, it doesn't seem to create harsh shadows and highlights like some flash photos do. |

Home Safe from Iraq by smellyfish1002Comment: Yay! Certainly something for which we should all be grateful--especially that woman. I like seeing his face, but I'd like to see more of the woman's face and her gratitude. Nice tonal range and lighting here, too. |

Give thanks to mother natureby robsmithComment: Lots of interesting textures, tones and colors here. I'm trying to figure out what that round thing is. Is it a mushroom? Looks huge! I love the idea that nature is something for which we should be grateful. I'm not sure that your image presents an ideal or glorified look at nature, but it does show its reality quite nicely. |

Gods Little Blessingby wwjdwithcaComment: A practice for the soft-focus challenge? This child certainly does look like God's little blessing! Soft focus works pretty well to give a 'soft' feel to the image. |

Thankful For The Love & Warmth of Familyby DrakeComment: Ah yes. What better to respresent the warmth of home than a fire? Nice work. It would be nice to see the top of the flames, but I like this image and the idea behind it. |

Flipin' My Family "the bird"by joannadivaComment: Mmmmmm. I could still eat turkey, even though I've been eating it for several days! This might look even more delicious in natural light. Try taking it outside, but in the shade or under a cloudy sky and you might get more natural colors. I think the centered composition works well here. I'm not so sure about the background. |
