a lovely composition. The walking person is an essential element to the success of this image, although waiting for them to have moved about ten feet further into the frame would have been nice. The visible bits of the road or pathway are slightly distracting, but not excessively. The single vertical post is unfortunate....

strikingly simple. the texture of the wall coupled with the strong lines of the stair is spectacular. The image is, however, "completed" by the defect in the upper left and the bright orange/red of the bottoms of the bannister rails
