My first challenge submission, taken while visiting family in Wertingen, Germany. I saw patterns everywhere I went once I read about this challenge, so hopefully I chose a good one as my first submission.

I really like the fact that nothing's leveled here as well as the human figure. Wouldn't this be a Basic Editing you could get rid of the stick in the middle... 9.

Simple but highly effective. The inclusion of the solitary figure makes this complete, both in terms of composition, and in the way it gives the viewer a hint of a story.

a lovely composition. The walking person is an essential element to the success of this image, although waiting for them to have moved about ten feet further into the frame would have been nice. The visible bits of the road or pathway are slightly distracting, but not excessively. The single vertical post is unfortunate....

Quintessential rural -- I think something to break up the overall fuzziness would have boosted this for me << 7 >>
