How dare you take a picture in an eye challenge of a wonderfully sharp pair of eyes with great colour that are well framed....Jeez no wonder you only scored 4.85....

DPC voting....Who the hell understands it?

I love reflections like this. In giving just a small portion of a scene it still paints a fantastic image of what else is going on (I could write a chapter on what was happening here, and although I would probably turn out to be wrong how fantastic is it that you have taken a photo that can fire the imagination so much)

Tremendous black and white conversion and I have to say for all the nude pics that gets posted on this site I personally think this one beats them all in terms of capturing femininity and 'sexiness'

Superb

Great contrasts and wonderful colours combined with a fascinating (if ultimately rather sad) subject. From a presonal perspective I may have prefered the very top of the building not to be cropped off (although that could be because living in grey on England I have a bizarre and unrequited love for beautiful blue skies)

Love the detail from the cracked plaster to the sink to the fading sign

Super image

nice image and great for the challenge. Super colours and composition and the 'ghost' image has an air of intrigue about it (in fact I wonder what it would look like with just the reflection and the actual flower cropped out

Love the gentleness of this

What a wonderful image (and this from a non cat lover). Tremendous high ket shot and the darkness of the eyelids (especially the one on the left) combined with the subtle eye colour and pupil just give a brilliant focal point and add real oopm to the image

Top shot

What a fantastic portrait of your son, captures everything that being a boy is all about. Beautiful centred composition and great symettry. As ever terrific sharpness, I think the definition of the eyebrows could almost be an image on its own

Talk about a keeper!!!!!!

Oh my gosh...I leave the country for a few days and come back to find you have won a blue...with a plus seven average... and your second highest ever score

Where do the congratulations start?

I thought this was a real stand out shot in the challenge, great filled frame, sharpness, good use of DOF and a super expression on the little critters face

Good job...no make that...great job

Karen, I have to say that I could absolutely see this as an advertisement in a colour supplement, I love the tie in between the wines name and the background. I did not score this challenge but it was only when I read your comments and looked at the picture again that I realised the wine was standing in ice rather than 'silky water' (of course once you know its obvious)

Clever and subtle with a strong brand message

I like it

Another stunning photograph, great colours but its the composition that really does it for me here, such magnificent symettry in terms of shapes, I swear that if it was not for the different coloured plummage I would have thought it was a reflection

As ever a brilliant concept brilliantly delivered

Gross gross gross, but one of the few pics in the challenge that manages to get across humor and a technically strong shot...Laughing and cringing at the same time here
