Stump Day 20by KatmystiryComment: Great composition with this shot and the tones and contrast are excellent, possibly just a tad sharper on dof would have brought the tree stump out even more, but it is very appealing to the eye
Great border too |

Forsaken, Day 20by jackal9Comment: Jack, given the building is by what appears to be old railtrack it looks like it might be a points man hut. Great shot love the 'feel' of the textures from the flaking paint
Great spot and capture |

Cemetery Gates, Day 19by jackal9Comment: Lovely, really soft (B&W or duotone?), the name of the cemetery made me laugh out loud (not sure about the US but in the UK a sod can also mean an unpleasant/cantakerous person)...I can think of many people I have come across who would easilt earn a spot in here |

Radiate, Day18by jackal9Comment: Great wall. Love the contrast, especially on the left hand side although (and if this was intentional forgive my ignorance) the (what looks like) motion blur of the leaves at the front kind of sits uneasily with the rest of the shot

Day-20by SandyPComment: I'm sitting in slack jawed amazement, even better than the elephant!!!!
The tightness of the shot means you can tell it was taken in a zoo and the contrast and tones are outstanding
This should be entered into a competition, submitted for publication and made into a postcard/poster
Just wonderful and a thing of beauty

Day-19by SandyPComment: Blimey!! What a fantastic photo, no wonder you love your new lens, the duotone works brilliantly as it captures the feeling of heat and dust. fantastic dof on the skin. I can almost feel the texture and dryness |

Bloodsuckerby JutildaComment: I know it does not really represent the letters DPL (unless...Dirty Little Pest?) but this would make a fantastic album cover. Very weird very cool, great effect |
