This is the other animal I tested my new lens out at the zoo Thursday. This tiger also has been very good to pose for me. He kinda has that look like, "Oh you again?"

I have to admit -- it killed me to take the color out of these tiger photos. The color on tigers is so rich and pretty. But it is a black and white challenge. Sigh.

But I'll show you a color version on another photo, okay?

Speechless!! Wow!!!!! He's so regal and your image of him really does him justice! You are definitely taking it up a notch with your new lens. You are such a great photographer and I am constantly amazed at your skill! You just keep getting better and better. These photos have wow written all over them!!

That color version is fantastic. I like the B&W too, but I'm not fully sold on the toning.

I see that your new lense is working out nicely for you. Very impressive!! The eye of the tiger! Love the dreamy feel that this has. The color version of this is tough to beat too. You Rock!

I'm sitting in slack jawed amazement, even better than the elephant!!!!

The tightness of the shot means you can tell it was taken in a zoo and the contrast and tones are outstanding

This should be entered into a competition, submitted for publication and made into a postcard/poster

Just wonderful and a thing of beauty
