Very nice macro. I really like this kind of abstract and you have pulled it off well. Just one thought, had you considered using just a top and bottom border and going a bit thicker on it?

In no way is that a criticism, just an idea

Hey deb, funnyily enough I had really liked this picture in the challenge but would never had put it down as one of yours (no reason other than its unlike any of yours I have seen before). Love the vibrancy of the colours and the composition in terms of rule of thirds (both the bucket and the swathe of dayglo pink paint). And just to be perverse....I really like the border, I thought it set the colours off well

What a fantastic way to end the challenge!!!

A stunning portrait of your daughter, I guess people may say that they dont like the stray hairs but for me this is what our children are all about, they are never 'perfectly' groomed (and nor would we want them to be)

Oh and by the way if you think the first two years have flown by hang onto your hat because it just gets faster!!

Yaay Sherryl. A lovely image to end the challenge with, full of the wonderful tonal contrasts that I have come to expect. Many thanks for all your comments and more especially for some of the simply stunning shots you have submitted, Symettry (day 4 and a bit) was wonderful as were many of your textured shots...You are so good at those, my favourite still remains metallica red though which I can look at even now and find myself catching my breath at its beauty

Thank you so much for all your comments and advice and for sharing such great photos from scary aliens to stunning portraits and candids. It has been loads of fun and cant wait till you are submitting to DPL (so long as it not against me)
