Woah, I hope you've strapped yourself in cos I bet you are getting a bumpy ride from the voters. Really out of the box entry for this challenge but I do think it meets it. As with all OOB shots you will probably get more people hate it than love it and I have to be honest and say it doesnt really do anything for me. However for the concept and the bravery 5

Rob nice shot (though the lighting on the right hand door is a bit odd) generally a lovely B&W conversion on a fairly grim image. I remember feeling slightly depressed when I saw this shot, and any image that can evoke an emotion has to be a good image

I came to love your black and white candid shotes so much in the recent 30 day challenge but this almost tops them all. Lovely image and - as ever - your tones and contrasts are magnificent.

Love the fact that there appears to be a giant pencil on the left of the frame....What the heck is that about!!!! It adds a wonderful touch of surrealism to the shot

I think this is a really beautiful image, wonderful focus and a very clever effect

Roz, I kinda liked the llamas but I thought the technicals were a bit weaker than this one, which is a great image with a lovely degree of subtlty - Was a bit worried this might have got hammered in voting and really glad it wasnt (even moreso now I know its one of yours). Lovely and clever picture (and no DQ!!!!!!)

Jack, good strong crisp image, subtle enough to make you think but not so abstract to be totally obscure. Would make a great anti drink drive advert in a style magazine (which hopefully you realise by now is meant as a compliment)

Lovely shot, to a 'Limey' like myself this is what the States is all about, a beautiful big country...Not sure whether I could have left such a picturesque area myself. Lovely job in capturing its natural beauty and great composition
