What a lovely shot and its good to see the fruits of her labours (excuse the pun) in the thrid image. Quite soft in terms of contrast but it works for me given the fact that the sun is shining on her face. Super candid portrait!

Ohhhh blimey, first things first sorry you have not been too chipper and as for the fall on the way home from taking this well let me say you have suffered for your art, but its totally worth it. I have a hatred of telegraph poles and wires (long story they messed up some shots I was trying to take this weekend), but you could convert my thinking. Beautiful colours and I like the leading lines. Nice start

I am tearing my flaming hair out here, trying to find Waldo!!! I dont know why but I feel certain that he is there somewhere (rather than you playing a cruel trick on the voters) and that when you point him out I will scream at my lack of observational skills

Got to say that this is one of the most striking images in terms of this challenge and has been fantastically captured, I just hope for your sake that other people are better spotters than me and that you dont get marked down by anyone who cant find waldo. This gets 9 from me

Wow, stunning colouration here and I love the contrast between the beautiful sky and the harshness of the road. Great POV and framing of the old gate (and of course waldo underneath)

Impressive

Made me smile simply for the fact that I remember a time when my own daughter was too small to look over the safety fence at a playground.

Absolutely pinpoint focus of this shot and lovely colour composition

Wow very piercing eyes, and I like the fact that the left hand is subtly in the frame as well. At first I wondered whether it would have been better to crop out the top right hand corner so there was only the knotted branches in view but having looked at it a while I think this space actually gives the shot more context and works well

Comment:
Well I have to confess when I saw the word Amsterdam my eyes went sraight away to the windows. Glad you went for a less onvious waldo and I love the fact that when you look at this shot you know you could only be one place in the world

Possibly a tad blown out on the boat, but this is more than compensated for by the sharpness and beauty of the canalsdide buildings

Nice take on the challenge wistful and ethereal and these feelings are heightened by the wonderful dark blue to black colours
