Day 1 Sunburst Lantanaby TCGuruComment: This is why I love the side challenges...If you entered this in a normal challenge you would get slaughtered by the voters because it fell outside the norm. I just thing the wavering focus is stunning and with the richness of colours it makes for a really stunning image. Not 100% sure about the uneven border (may have prefered just the horizontals if you needed to square it up) Beautiful shot though |

Day 1: My Streetby cginoComment: Wow I love the rolling hills and the peacock seems so out of place it is wonderful. What a great and slightly surreal start to your 50 days!!! |

Waldo at the Pumping Station (...yup, he's there)by lwkimagesComment: Len I HATE you. I speny so flipping long looking for this Walso and then once I read your description I found him in an instance. I loved this picture on a whole host of levels and for me it would have been a ribboner in the challenge
Great job |

Where's the Troll?by jasonlpriceComment: Jason
I thought this met the challenge soooo well, my only guess is that you hid waldo so subtly (yet so blindingly obviously when you 'knew' where to look) that people may have thought you were messing with them
No trolls coming to get you and deserved a far higher finish |

Day 1 - The Stairs by BudComment: Great perspective and I love the dof you have used on this shot. Soft tones and contrast in the B&W conversion but the focus (imo) means that this suits the image rather than detracts from it |

July 1 : Snickerdoodles!!!by daboardergirlComment: What the hell is a snickerdoodle (they do look nice though) and as for eating 6....:-o You chozzer!!!!
This is what I hope the challenge will produce loads of...shots which tell a story of what people are up to. You shot is fantatsic and really shows how the mundane (not that I am suggesting your snickerdoodles are mundane) can be beautiful. This would definitely not look out ofplace in an illustrated cook book!! |

IMG_0034-Day-1-tree-sheddin.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: Jeanne!!! Yaay our paths cross again in a multi day challenge. I love the colour in this shot and the compsoition. Both really work well in terms of the dark textures of the footpath |

cell-phone-rehab.jpgby suitenessComment: Well whilst I want to say sorry for the accident I need to also confess that the way you told the story made me laugh out loud!!!
Nice composition. If I was suggesting any changes I might have said that because the battery isnt quite as sharp as the phone I might have lost it and gone for a solid dark background.
Very nice start to the challenge though and I really like the compositional elements in terms of hitting the rule of thirds |

Day01.jpgby WalesPComment: Beautifully composed shot. Outsanding focus and colours and I love what appears to be a spiralling stem coming from the plant. If you have another 49 days of these to come it is going to be a pleasure |
