 We went for a walk and this was lying on the sidewalk. Thought it was pretty.

It's beautiful. That's the kind of image I like to take too, but I've never seen such a pretty flower lying on the ground.

Lovely mimosa bloom, brings back memories of my grandmothers tree in her front yard. They almost look like some punk rocker, don't they? Nice find, just goes to show you always look up and down ;) Don't care for the border, but that's just me.

Jeanne!!! Yaay our paths cross again in a multi day challenge. I love the colour in this shot and the compsoition. Both really work well in terms of the dark textures of the footpath

We had a tree like this near my childhood home. I always thought it was such magical looking tree. Very nice, colorful shot.

ooh, it IS pretty. Mimosas are so delicate; I love the contrast of the pretty pink delicate blossom against the rough dark pavement.

Oh I love mimosa! I have a huge one in my backyard and can spend lots of time in the middle of it just snapping away...just me and the bees.

Flower off my favorite tree the Mimosa. We had 6 of these at our last house. Neighbor hated us for all the fluff they shed. Good job making tree fluff look good!

Very striking with the pink. Compositionally, I prefer a less cornered piece but that is my preference.

That does look like a Mimosa; we have lots around here. The flower by itself appears to have had a wild hair day ;-)

I didn't do the square crop either lol. Love the bright color contrasting with the dark ground. The border is a great accent.

I like the colorful flower on the dark background. But to be honest, I really don't like the border. Think the photo looks much better without it.

Wow! Jeannie- This is a powerful image! What the heck is it, I wonder? Those colors are wild. I like the BG sidewalk-adds to the dramatic feel of this shot, like the wind is blowing as you took the picture!
