Healing Handsby DrAchooComment: hmmm? The hair on the model looks devilish, an anti-Christ serving his own purpose? Nice set-up, the blanket placement is great. |

Hot Toddyby techComment: I think you could have done better without all the other peripheral elements. Nice concept though. |

Garlicby rickhd13Comment: I love the composition and the theme. I questioned the starkness of the photo - but then remembered my vacation when I was away from my garlic dose from my own cooking...this photo exemplifies my return to my own kitchen - bump to 9....bumped to 9 and came back! I really like the photo the garlic stems bounces my eye all over the photo... 10 I hope you ribbon. There is so much about the photo that is interesting: focus, shadow, movement. |

Alternative Alternative Medicineby santiago9erComment: Killer concept!...oops - international audiences might not understand US slang - It's awsome! I wish the focus could have been on the fingers holding the nail and not so much on the nails to the right...mind you I am no expert on technique. I was tempted to say the background takes away from the shot...but really, the more I look, the more it seems to compliment the environment...8 |

Breakfast Will Be Ready In 1 Minuteby joecicconeComment: I love the concept! Very creative. The glare really blows things out...stainless steel is hard to shoot I would imagine; you are daring to try. I wish there was more focus on the bottles...they could be anything (?)...and a good focal point for your intention. I like your thinking. bump to 7 to keep you tweeking your skills (albeit, I am no paragon to skill) |

Mortarium & Pistillumby BrookiedComment: The porcelain against the white background is very soft and soothing. All is very clear and focused and the herb (lavender?)offers nice contrast for a very pleasing composition. Compared to some of the other fine photographs in the challenge, this one makes me feel better just by looking at it!
One tiny nitpic...the top might (?) be cropped too close? |
