Ow! This is painful just looking at it! nice job with the motion blur on the hammer. :)

ouch. a bit too "warm" on the color tones I think. It kinda makes the details of the hammer indistinguishable
03/13/2007 02:14:09 PM
I think it would have been better without the strong color cast. 5

very blury

This image is really disturbing, but the shadowing is nice. I also like how you didn't get too much of the subject in the phto, there is just enough to express the idea your trying to get across.

I like this concept. Even though the tips are hidden I think it would have been great if you could have gotten them arranged in something other than a track. but good idea.

Interesting take on the idea. This could certainly mess up your day.

If you had used needles instead of nails I would have rated this higher. I approached this challenge seriously, and this just isn't working for me....

Wow, I really like the concept of this photo! The motion on the hammer really sets it off! Great work on the color scheme and lighting as well.

this looks like a painful way to get alternative medicine. looks more like alternative pain to me
03/09/2007 08:34:46 AM
Ouch...that's funny!
03/09/2007 02:38:10 AM
hehehe! Love the concept, it's what I was playing with... but I entered my photo for red and not for alternative medicine! Good on ya!

strong message

Man, there are some really twisted senses of humour out there! :-o
03/08/2007 04:47:19 PM
Ouch! You've got a really brave model there! LOL. The background really detracts from the subject here.

Yikes!!! I love the motion of the hammer - adds to the tension of this entry.

wow!still alive?! :)original!
03/08/2007 02:04:30 AM
Very creative! This could have been much more impactful if maybe it was in black and white with a simple background. Love the movement of the hammer - The lighting and colour cast are a little distracting - Still a great concept though

so sad the very left nail is so blurry, noisy. 5

Killer concept!...oops - international audiences might not understand US slang - It's awsome! I wish the focus could have been on the fingers holding the nail and not so much on the nails to the right...mind you I am no expert on technique. I was tempted to say the background takes away from the shot...but really, the more I look, the more it seems to compliment the environment...8

Laugh! That's fantastic.....great idea, but the image does suffer from the very nusy background and the poor lighting....I'm a little scared of the motion in that hammer!
