I wish I could read the labels!
This is in Chinatown, and I actually got up my nerve to go in and ask if I could take pictures. Despite the language barrier, once she was clear that it was the shop I wanted to shoot, not her, all was good.
I didn't take many though because, as you can see, it's a crowded little shop and I didn't want to get in the way of her customers. I'd like to go back and try some more, since none were very good.
The sunlight from the window competing with the flourescent lights is MUCH more noticible in photos than it is to the eye... it's a real problem.

Obvious choice nicely composed. Clean and simple.

This looks like a picture anyone could take. Its not very interesting and doesn't have anything that pops out at you.

I think your idea was in the right place however your camera wasn't. For me, to show a Herb Shop, It would have been fantastic to have rows of herbs we can see more clearly instead of a wall of drawers.

Nice take on the challenge but It would have probably been better to focus in one one part of the shop instead of the whole thing because without the title I would have never guessed this was an herb shop.

I like the colors and perspective, but the flash used in this image seems to highlight the drawers on lower right portion of the image. Directing the light on the three people or the herbs on the shelves would have served you better.

Woah. Way to much stuff. I mean, nothing really draws my attention, yet it has so many things (ex. boxes, people, shelves)

focus should be on the people, next time... maybe make a funny noise to make them look at you.. i think the picture would profit from a pair of eyes.

Good find and a good shot.....

Looks like a great location but the composition lets it down and the lighting is a little bland.

A tighter vision might have helped your concept. Still a nice shot.

good picture, the only thing i would try to change is makeing it so the people are not movin, all their hands seem to be moving, but i guess it would be hard to get it so thats not like that.... good picture though...
