two of twoby instepsComment: Again, I am distracted by the clashing color of the tiles. I think if the tiles were desaturated, the black floor leading up the stairs would have a greater impact. |

one of twoby instepsComment: Bingo! You nailed it. This says so much about the woman wearing these shoes. Great self confidence both in the color of the shoes and the stride. And the graphics of this photo are dynamite. |

Mar 04 - Purple weedby hajekaComment: Love the DOF, and the beautiful bokeh. I would never guess the background is bricks, it has the look of a cloudy sky. |

But your editing is so exquisite, I wouldn’t change, unless it’s just for the fun of it. |

Thanks for the tip, Roz. I’m going to look into Enlight. And “gloomy cold and almost forbidding” was exactly what I was going for with the DistressedFX edits. |

daffodilby JuliBocComment: Originally posted by insteps: I love as found filters like the screen in your image. The screen isolates the daffodils from the winter backdrop. The cross shaped windowpane is also a powerful symbol. Nice! |
The screen was actually part of the original image, and not a filter. The filter I used altered the light and color slightly. Thank you for the very specific critique. |

At the top of the page in Snapseed, you will see a symbol with a square and a counter-clockwise arrow. After you have made some changes to the image, click on that symbol. You will have a list of options. Click on “View Edits”. You will see the layers there, and you can make changes to the layers, including using a paintbrush to create a mask. |

P3023714 - SOOC comparison 1000pxlsby rozComment: Kate looks great surrounded by the green grass. Very nice capture I know your own b&w editing would do a better job than this in-camera conversion. |
