Thanks for your great comments and your votes. I was trying all that week to get a good b/w photo, but couldn't get what I wanted. When I when grocery shopping I saw these flowers. The flowers were red and yellow stripes. I put it in the front of the window with the sun shine in. After probably 50 shots, I got the one above.

Red-tailed hawk

I was taking picture at Garret Mt.NJ. When this hawk flew in and land on this branch, which was about 10 ft above the ground. So I started taking its picture. I was very surprised, it stayed in the tree for a long time just looking at us. I will be posting more pictures.

First I have submit my original photo and I have not been DQ'd. The only things I did in photoshop was to add some contract, size it down to 640, turn it to black & white, all which is legal.
Second I have used these same blinds in two other pictures, if you check my past challenges you will see them.
Third I didn't vote on this, The other members have voted on this and they must have thought it was very good for it to pull second place.
Plus I am very happy to have my first ribbon.
