The Valley Rattlerby kirtiebuComment: I wonder if the grain was intentional. I like the composition, but I sure wish it was in colour! |

Medalsby KiwiChrisComment: That was at 200mm? WOW, you can nearly make out the writing on the medals even in this web-resized photo! Fantastic!!! |

The Guardby peeteComment: I agree that you were robbed. People must have "penalized" you for not showing something cute and fluffy, instead of judging this superb photograph. Ggggrrrrrrrr at them.

Philip-Head & Neck Portraitby lynnesiteComment: Catching an animal running around would not normally count as "portrait", but since you can hardly sit a horse on a table with some posterboard behind and some carefully placed spotlight, I'll "let you get away with it" this time *g*.
The blur is ok, but I would like to see this photo with the white bar cloned out, and the perhaps the sky a touch bluer (all this coming from a purist *s*).
Beautifully captured, a perfect moment in time, the light couldn't be better - LOVELY SHOT!!! 8 |

George by Rando D300Comment: The background is not attractive, but sufficiently dark and blurred to not be a problem. Your dog is beautiful and I like the soft, natural light. I would prefer it if he/she was looking at the camera, or at least a little more in "my" direction. |
