Waiting for Romanceby Harz_JoergComment: Excellent picture of the drool on his lower lip! The color of the red flowers and green leaves in the hair are great as the red flower hanging out of his mouth. [or is it a her?] The lighting on the face is pleasing to the eye and makes you focus on the dog's eyes. My only complaint would be that the flower in the dog's mouth is slightly out of focus, but otherwise this is a lovely portrait of your dog! |

Maddy in classic pearlsby LindaLeeComment: Oh Maddy, You are so cute! Visual impact is very striking and the photo is really sharp and in focus. I like the way the dogs eyes follow you over top of the eyeglasses. The dog's face captures you and holds your attention immediately.
I wonder if you could have moved the one light on the dog's left eye over a bit so that it would only have reflected one light from it's eye instead of two? |

Man's Best Friendby nfesselComment: My first thought is "this must be one mean dog, the way he's chained up".
You've captured him nicely. His reflection in that back porch window shows another side to him. The direct sunlight warming him up "lights" him up nicely for this photograph and at the same time it seems to leave his face in the shadows "deep in thought"
Upon looking at this photograph, I can't help but think how cruel it is that this dog can't lay down, but is chained up in such a way that he has to sit up all day long in such a cramped position! |

kids playby caldiverComment: Nice photo. I think the girl's winning! You've captured two kids in action here. You can tell it's cold out by the color of red on the boy's left ear! And look at the snow [or freezing rain?] still falling which you've also captured in it's drizzling effect. A lot of color here, the yellow line on the road, the yellow sign across the road, the red and white pole across the street, the red porch, the green boxes. Nice job. Nice picture of the kids. |

Winter Sunsetby ManicComment: Beautiful colors in the sky, and the silhouette of the tree's, bush, and buildings make a big difference to the landscape. My eyes focus on the colorful sky and just stay there, wishing it would never end. Nice job. |

Yellow patternsby erikjohndaleComment: Visual impact doesn't say much to me, perhaps if you had showed more photo to me? The overall color is okay, but only 3 of the boats are in focus. The colors do stand out bright enough, but is that enough? |

Floral Arrangementby jgillardComment: Nicely done. Sharp focus on most of the flowers and the vase. The background is nicely done so that it is not distracting from the flowers. The colors are bright and stand out nicely. I wish the smaller pink flowers were more in focus, but what the heck. . . Did you have to use two mats, could you not have used just one instead of having the two joined together like this? Or perhaps crop the bottom of the vase a little to cut off the 2nd mat? Nice floral arrangement. |

Bahsworth & Brodamireby GotchaComment: This makes me want to say "Wow!" The faces of these two dogs really grab me and hold my attention. You've captured their brown eyes just perfectly. And those white bow ties. . . Those tinge marks on their hind legs are great. And the black claws on the guy sitting on the chair show up beautifully. I belive your composition has truly shown the rule of 3rds. The portrait is sharp and is truly in focus. Even the scroll on the chair is in focus. Lovely job! |

Dried Rosesby PopeTomComment: Definately shows the age of the roses, the dried up leaves and stems. The colors of the flowers are nice, but the lighting on the leaves on the upper and middle rose are a bit harsh and are distracting. You also seem to have some kind of red feflection on the bottom right side with two white spots which you might have been able to control when you cropped. Nicely focused, and the background you used was wise. |

Hibiscusby amnonComment: Excellent pinks and yellows. This photograph is vibrant with color and the background is simple and undistracting except for that one piece of blue/white at the top of the pink petal. Good lighting, good focus. |
