Wow. You have such an interesting style... I like the rich, vibrant colors many of your images have, the crimsons, greens, and golds... It somehow gives everything a very jungle-like feel, which of course is very fitting for this picture!

Great idea and nice set-up... my only complaint is that the placemat is a little harsh on the eyes, and thus distracting. A solid color might have worked better. But otherwise, this is nicely done!

The sheer emptiness somehow evoked by this photo is spooky. The atmosphere makes me feel like I could spin around and see nothing but nothingness for eternity in all directions. It makes me feel like I don't won't to take another step forwards or backwards, for fear I might fall into some sort of void. Then on top of it all, (this is probably starting to sound silly but...) the trees themselves seem to be very unconcerned and apathetic to the whole "nothingness" predicament. Which makes it even more spooky.

I really like the powerful contrasts. My instinct might have been to desaturate this... and I'm glad you didn't! The colors you let live are so subtle and they add so much to the image.
