I really appreicate the feedback on how I could have made the image better. I was actually kicking myself in the rear when voting started on this.

I came across this site looking for info a new lens. I thought the idea of a challenge with voting would be awesome. I have submitted photos to the weekly assignments on Fred Miranda's board, but for obvious reasons had no luck. So I thought this would be cool with people voting for your work.

I had been out shooting and took this picture. The next day I found this site and it was really the only photo I had to get entered at the time. So I threw it up there. Later in the week I tweaked a few more photos from my day of shooting and came across one that I liked better. In fact, I even think the voting public would have enjoyed it better too. For some reason though I never switched my photos out and that is where I made the mistake....

So, this is what I should have gone with....



Thanks again for the votes and the feedback, with my first challenge done, I now have a benchmark to attempt to surpass.
