Definately a very interesting image. Very good attempt at the challenge. Only flaw I really see is the bluriring of the image, which I am sure was simply cause of limited dof, but it does tend to take away from it.

Nice image. Very good attempt at the challenge. I would say it works well. You got one small flaw in the photo that I am sure hurt you slightly in the voting. There is a light spot just off to the left of the beam, something that could have easily been corrected with different editing rules. Nice even though.

This is an excellent idea, however your technique is off slightly. You have excellent focus on the jeans with wonderful detail and then the foot has little detail. I would like to see more of the "footprints" in this.

As for meeting the challenge I can see where it is coming from but i have a feeling some didn't feel the same way. Keep thinking though, I like how you were thinking here. It really was a wonderful idea.

As I said during the voting I find this to be a very cute image. There are a few minor flaws in it that would really improve on it. For one thing there is a very nasty glare in front of the little boys foot that just grabs the attention. Another thing is there are just too many extra people in the photo. getting rid of the little boy to the right side and the woman in the bottom corner would help a lot.

I think the lighting is fairly well on this shot. It's too bad you didn't get the little girl looking at you instead of the way she is.

I think it does meet the challenge well.

Very interesting image. But I think you have a small problem lack of shadows. As stated in your comments during the challenge it appears to be more of a silhouette than a shadow. I sat here and thought a minute of what you were doing and I understand that it is a shadow but I do believe most voters thought it was silhouette.

The composition is good and your lighting technic made this interesting. Just think that the absents of obvious shadows hurt you greatly.

Very nice composition but the lighting seems to be playing games with you here. The shadows are excellent, but there is just to much lighting and it cause overexposed areas.

Looking at the angles of the lighting I would say it is a case of just too much sunlight causing this.

You did meet the challenge well just watch out for to much light spoiling a potentially excellent shot.
