Chicago 'L' Tracksby andrulisjComment: Back to comment. The technicals of this image are pretty good. Some people might say it needs a bit more saturation but I like the natural look you presented. However, this image does not present a strong Up From The Ground Perspective. This will probably hurt your score considerably. |

Gravity Defeatedby VisualOddityComment: Back to comment. The silhouette is well done and the sky has plenty of detail to make it interesting but the blue could use a bit more saturation. This image meets the challenge but it is not a strong perspective for conveying from the ground up. |

Mountain Bike Tireby drake217Comment: Back to comment. I almost did a similar shot for this challenge. You found a good path to take the image but the camera angle is a bit flat to strongly convey the up from the ground perspective. This image would probably score better if the whole body of the rider were visible. |

Short Stuffby deputydogComment: Back to comment. This shot appears to have the opposite perspective of the challenge description. I hope I'm not missing something in your image that would invalidate my interpretation. |

From the Groundby MichaelsComment: Back to comment. I really like the texture presented in this image. My only issue is the partial tree in the background. Perhaps a different angle or different bale of hay could have presented a better background. 6 |

From the ground-up.by TandangoComment: Back to comment. I love the play on words and hope you don't get hit too badely from the DNMC crowd. Technically, this doesn't meet the ground up perspective of the challenge description but I'll give you a 6 for giving me a smile this morning. |

Look way up...by RonRobertsonComment: You might want to consider rotating this 90 degrees clockwise and cropping out the partial palm tree and some of the empty sky at the top. This would provide a strong leading line from the tree trunk and the top of the tree would be at the upper node of the rule of thirds. Otherwise, good focus and exposure and I like that the colors look natural and not super saturated. I'm going to give this a 6, as the flaws are easily fixable. You got the hard part right. |

giant in the puddleby BeeGeeComment: I fear that the DNMC crowd will not like this. I like the out of the box thinking where you shot up by shooting down. Gave it a 6. |

What the bug seesby Trumpeteer4Comment: A clever idea and good facial expressions. Could have used a bit more depth of focus so both faces would have equal sharpness. 6 |
