This wasn't a hard shot and it was kind of fun.

Two of my brothers posed as the bug watchers.

All I had to do was get the camera as low as I could and still keep the faces in the right place.

Sharpened
Lightened slightly
Soft focus
Recised

This photo was indeed one of the better (and more creative) ones of the challenge. Keep up the good work.

It meets the challenge. This photo has potential. It's missing the "wow" factor...whatever that is. Good luck!

cute idea; really like the expression of the boy on the right, maybe the boy on the left should be closer, too.

Cute. Love the expression on the left kid's face. And the enlarged, seemingly displaced eyeball against the right kid's face, coupled with the large foreground hands, seems Picasso-esque.

A clever idea and good facial expressions. Could have used a bit more depth of focus so both faces would have equal sharpness. 6

great facial expressions - I think a titch more contrast to bring out the definition in that tree would make it better, and maybe posing the boys so their heads are closer together in the composition so my eye doesn't have to move so far to see both (my eye got tired going that far!) - but excellent creative and amazing execution 8 for now

This would be a 10 if it had, had more post-production

Neat. :) Great idea, but I think if you had chosen just the magnifying glass boy as your subject and had him fill the frame more, without the blown out sky behind him, and with his expression just as it is, you'd really have a winner here. Some noise reduction and sharpening, then enhancing the colours and contrasts with adjustment layers, and this could very well be a ribbon winner.
