Thanks for the votes and comments, and for those who don't garden, the gloves are specially dipped in rubber to make them waterproof and the tool is a gardening trowel. Since I see and use this frequently, I thought everyone else would recognize them but I guess I was mistaken! :-)

Thanks all for the votes and comments! This was taken in natural light on a piece of computer paper and it turned out a bit brighter than I expected and ended up giving the drip a floating appearance. Also, using the macro lens, which I haven't used a lot yet, I really needed to shoot this at f/9 or more to get a larger DOF and have more of the image in focus. I appreciate all the constructive comments and I'm sure they will help me in the next challenge.

Honeycomb?

Thanks for the votes and comments! This is my first entry in these challenges and it has been an interesting experience. The unsharpened wood pencils have quite a bit of texture when viewed with a macro lens so while the image was not overexposed, using levels and contrast I more or less obliterated the texture. I also added a bright yellow color to simulate the color of honeycomb.
