Levitationby esdarbyComment: Nicely done. Clean, no wasted space, lit well. Only nitpick would be to have the hand sharper. Could be one of those inspirational posters. 6. |

This frog BETTER turn into a prince!by walrus451Comment: Luckily, the title made me look closer to see that she's kissing a frog. But I almost missed it entirely, and just saw a cute girl dressed like a princess. Normally I don't like titles to tell me the story; I prefer that in the image.
But the rest of the image is so nice - the contrast between her coloring and that of her dress against the brown background, her expression, her gorgeous eyes ... and I like the soft focus.
Compositionally, the large empty space on the left doesn't do much for me.
With a tighter crop and maybe her hand lower so I could really see the frog, I would've voted higher. Still, I'm voting it a 6. |

Pyrotechny by labudsComment: I started out with a 6 for this, but I'm upping it to an 8. It really captures the challenge topic perfectly, and it's a great image on top of that. I look forward to reading how you did it. I like how the hands are lit enough to know what they are without dominating the picture, and how the fingers curl to lead my eye back to the flame spiral. Very nice! |

The magic featherby TUBORGComment: Interesting angle and nice idea with the floating feather. The models' expressions work, too, and sell the idea that it's magical. Not sure about the tight crop on the left and empty space on the right. 6. |

Hey! You're Not a Rabbit!by TransitComment: Very cute concept. The cat's expression is wonderful. She looks as surprised as the title indicates the magician is feeling. The negative space at the top makes me think she's about to leap out of there as quickly as she can. 6. |

Magical Riverby chozenfrozenComment: I like this better than the other northern lights shot because it has more context. I can imagine the glow as a magical spell here, maybe from a passing wizard or witch. I also love night shots that incorporate stars. 6. |

Salemby Gaby_GComment: Spooky! I like it a lot. The soft focus works well in this case. I like the tight crop - it emphasizes her face over her hair and keeps the focus on her eyes. 6. |

Apparitionby bryanbrazilComment: Who is that? What's she doing? Why? Nice image! The off-center position is interesting here, along with the partial reflection. The stormy sky adds an air of mystery. 6. |

Wally - The Magicianby gsalComment: The color here, or more specifically lack thereof, adds a nice street feeling to the image for me. His intense concentration is interesting to see. My only concern is that the woman with her arms folded is distracting, even though you did a nice job of blurring out the audience. Perhaps a different crop would help with that? 6. |

Masqueradeby brizmamaComment: Who is she? Why is she sad? What's she thinking? The colors and composition are very nice. Selective desat works for me in this image. 6. |
