This is one of the better action shots I have seen in awhile. I would love to know how you got such a great indoor shot. I am always trying to take pictures of my kids backetball games but can't seem to get them to come out. The color and focus is great.

Love the cute plump penguins. The composition and lighting is very nice. Especially like how the tires from the top guide you in a flowing motion to the penguins on the lower rock. The greyish green tone of the rocks makes the penguins stand out even more. Love the punk hairdo of the one on the left. Hope this one does well.

Wow and congratulations. If I had voted on any of the B/W photos I would have given this a 10. I wish I had. I love this shot. I especially love this shot since it was taken with the same camera I have. I hope one day I will have a shot that is as good as yours.

clowning around with photoshop

I can relate to the clowning aroun with photoshop. I am still learning it. I love the composition of the photo but I am not too keen on the low contrast. I feel it takes away from such a nice photo. I think if you went with high contrast it would make this portrait pop. Just my opinion. This still is a very nice self portrait. Good luck in the challenge.
