I really like old buildings like this, and the editing works well giving the building an aged feel, but The fish eye look to the shot makes the right side of the building lot awkward which to me kind of holds it back a little. Still overall a nice image.

Sorry to hear about the DQ, it really hurts especially when you know it was taken for the challenge. My only 7.0 image was DQ'd for a wrong date so I know how it feels, I actually set the year wrong when I was checkeing to make sure I had the time set right....I can laugh now but it really hurt when it happened. Still a beautiful image!

Wow Tom this was one of my favorites for the challenge, I gave you a 10, nice to see it was yours! Good finish, I am sure if the left side of the image had been open like the right side you would have seen even more 10's.

Kind of a neat scene but the processing is a little over the top for my tastes. Also IMHO with the pillar centered it takes away from the shot and would likely work better if the pillar were on one of the thirds line. Good luck in the challenge.

Lovely scene but the image seems way to blue, as I look at this shot I want to like it but the blue snow and clouds just overwhelm the image and take away from beauty.

My eyes were drawn to the focused section at the top which almost look like it should not be part of this image. The title suggest the focal point is inside but the inner sections lack a clearly focused area to draw the eyes into the shot. If the intent is purely abstract then cropping the top focused section out would really help.
