love the colors of the plant but I find the background is very distracting. The DOF could also be improved by either going with more DOF or by focusing on the front of the plant rather than the middle. Hope the information helps, good luck in the challenge.

IMO, nothing spoils a photo quicker than a wrinkled back drop or a backdrop with a color that does not compliment the subject, unfortunately this one has both. I am OK with the back drop color against the flowers but feel it really conflicts with the color of the vase. Hope the information helps, good luck in the challenge.

I do not like the way the corsage is partially cut off and the way the wood comes out of his head, maybe moving him slightly would have helped but overall I just do not care for the setting, the setting just does not add anything positive for the shot but rather becomes a distraction.

And is it just me or is waiting for your bride on a play ground just a little bit odd....lol. Sorry I could not help myself!

I think the idea of the starting line was very good but shooting the back side just does not do the idea justice. To me if the shot was from the front with the runners in the starting block stance it would have worked better and likely scored better.

I love the colors on this one, just wish the crop would not have included the sky on the right. without the sky it almost takes on an abstract look and I think it would have been a much stronger image. Good luck in the challenge.
