Rainby MAKComment: The close-up composition is good. I'm not sure if a filter was used here or else excessive neatimage but the skin looks very odd as do the teeth and hair. There seems to be quite a number of jpg artifacts in the shot too. |

Crazy for Thomasby PhotoRynoComment: On one hand it looks like a snapshot and on the other it uses the same principles as a senior portrait. He is surrounded by the things he loves and as such it is showcasing his personality. The slight motion adds energy and fun. I could suggest some things to make it more of a traditional portrait etc, but sometimes it's good to be different! |

tiffanyby gtp1164Comment: It's a good portrait composition and she looks like a natural in front of the camera. The diffuse glow/soft focus effect is used a lot and I can see why it is appealing, however, the eyes usually suffer with this technique. You could try attempting the effect on a new layer and once you have it looking like you want it use the eraser tool around the eyes and the mouth to bring back some of the sharpness while leaving the skin soft and glowing. |

"What's Gravity?"by stupidcatComment: Catching her in midair helps with the energy of the shot and makes it a little different than a lot of kid images. The main issue here for me is the overexposure. A levels or curves adjustment could have helped. This seems like a spontaneous shot but getting down on her level and shooting at the same level or up toward her could give a nice new dimension. |

Wooden Canoesby BudComment: The complimentary colors together are appealing and as a graphical image it works well. The texture of the wood is interesting and the composition leads the eye through the image well. In the back of my mind and when I first looked at it, though, the purple water kinda threw me a little and it seemed a little surreal, but I think if you look at it long enough the graphical imagery wins through. |

Joyby JesuispeureComment: What fun! I like the sutle colors - it gives it quite an ageless quality to it. The light on the bubbles are great and really give a nice dimension to them. The backlighting is also wonderful and adds to the charm. It's almost like a mystical glow. The child in the bottom left is a slight detraction but when capturing the moment that isnt always something you can avoid. A wonderful captured memory. |

Wind On Waterby BrianRComment: The colors seem a little odd and oversaturated unless you were going for a surreal photo-art effect, which isnt always easy to know. It looks like it was harsh light and so the image is a little flat also. The photo quality isnt really that good, sorry. |

A bug in the flowerby NunoComment: The composition is good but the focus seems off or else very soft. There isnt really anything else wrong with it, just the focus issues. |

Silkby samtrundleComment: This is a very serene image and I can certainly see the relation with your title. The reflections do look more like creases in a soft fabric than ripples in the water. I cant tell if you greyscaled the duck or just reduced saturation but the subtle color works well. I like how the pattern around the duck's eye compliments the reflections in the water. I like it! |
