the great GIZMOby ceyvalComment: An interesting moody and warm light. Not too fond of the composition and think cropping out some of the left side would put more emphasis on the face. Think having more of the feet in the shot may have helped some too. Additionally not fond of the two white blobs in the background as they draw the eye a little. They seem fairly isolated and could be easily cloned out. |

"Blondie"by BudComment: Good composition and nicely sharp. Very colorful too without being overly saturated. Only thing I'm not too fond of is the white band at the top of the image as it draws the eye a little too much. |

Playing Cat & Mouseby cheekymunkyComment: The background seems a little 'dirty' in places and the image would have probably looked just as good with another solid color background. Could have done with a little more room on the left too. The lighting looks ok. |

Alfalfaby prefishingComment: Cute expression and I like the way the hair spike points into the corner. The red blackground would have been good but having the cushions/sofa there mostly just adds a snapshotty feel to it. Seems like the shot could have been a little bigger also. |

Philip-Head & Neck Portraitby lynnesiteComment: What a shame about the fence! The warm tones and obvious movement gives the image such a sense of freedom and life and then there is the fence :( Not so sure about the blurred vignette(?) that seems to have been added either. Overall it's a pleasant image. |

The Divine Ms. Pby L1Comment: What a poor, shameful thing to do to a dog! Poor peanut :( Good lighting, nice blend of colors that stands out against the black background. Soft and yet sharp at the same time. Good details in the face too, which is a very sweet-looking face. |

Bun Bunby mlhop05Comment: The center composition makes the image a little static and with the background being black it almost looks like s/he is floating in mid air. The eyes look very light but I'm assuming that's from the light reflection. The bunny seems a little out of focus also. |

Kilo a.k.a. "Bubba"by lytaComment: Black animals are hard to photograph. The lighting here is not too great with the left side being darker in shadow and the right side being overexposed. |

Who's A Pretty Girl Then?by mrmorrisComment: Seems a tad overexposed with chromatic aberration on the edges (the blue outline between the dark and light areas). Also seems a little soft. Composition is good. |
