purpleby Crafty SueComment: The flower looks more blue to me on this monitor. A tighter crop with a closer macro of the details of the flower would be better as the background here just distracts. |

"Secondary Fruit"by tfarrell23Comment: The grapes look a little dull with the dust on them. One trick a lot of people use is to spritz the fruit with water for a fresh, vibrant look. The rim of the plate in the background is also a little distracting. The tight crop gives a somewhat crowding feel, but the white background helps give it a little 'breathing' space too. A different angle or with more dramatic lightning and this would really enhance the image. |

Sunset airlines by pesinnComment: The flares on the plane lights are interesting, and the silhouette of it really stands out against a wonderful sky. It's certainly an image I would expect to see in a holiday brochure or adorning an airport lounge. |

Funicular Tramwayby MitonskiComment: The angle is great, the colors appealing, and the composition is wonderful. The uniqueness, to me anyways, makes this a very unusual and intriguing image. I certainly get the feel of being in one of those cars. |

Electric Midnight Express by magnetic9999Comment: I love the colors in this photograph! The lines and curves are very appealing, and the colors/patterns are intriguing. This adequately meets the challenge, and the motion of the train makes it feel almost futuristic. |

You Might be a Redneck if...by cercyComment: This is a very simple shot but it speaks a lot. Despite the tone, one can still image this is a warm summer day, although looking at it for a while I'm not sure if that is a lawnmower, which is what I first thought, or some other mode of transportation. The position of the 'rider' in relation to the road works well. |

100by eddieguyComment: Great angle on this and the size of the front almost makes up for having such a washed out sky. B&W works well, but I wonder what this would look like in color. |

Ol' Timerby tcherringComment: The sepia tone really compliments the aged feel of the wagon (at least I think it's a wagon). I also really like the clouds, I think it adds depth to the image. |

To the Rescueby rogerspaulComment: The vibrancy of the fire truck really makes it stand out, but having more of a motion-blurry background would really make this image pop. A different perspective may have helped or a deeper and shorter crop perhaps. |
